PENINGKATAN PROFESIONALISME GURU ADMINISTRASI PERKANTORAN KOTA YOGYAKARTA MELALUI LESSON STUDY

                Lesson study is collaboration among teachers as an effort to increase their ability to run the teaching learning process through doing observation and reflect it systematic. The aim of lesson study is to increase the serving of the teacher to the student needed. The main essential point of lesson study is the collaboration among teacher or teacher and lecturer to observe, investigate and reflecting learning activity. The steps to do lesson plan are:
1.       Planning, the teacher collaborating to arrange a lesson plan.
2.       Application, the teacher was doing teaching learning process at the real class, while the other teachers are doing observation.
3.       Reflection and Improvement I, the teachers and also the lectures were doing discussion.
4.       Reflection and Improvement II, the other teacher was doing teaching learning activity, while the other one was preparing to do an observation.
Lesson study was done to produce an innovation on the education through improving teaching learning process, the relevant paradigm are such: student centered, constructivist approach, realistic approach, contextual teaching learning. Innovation through lesson study could be done if: the teachers have open minded thinking and high commitment, there are developments of encourage system, done by all of component, get a support form the government, as a long time or middle innovation not just as a little bite innovation.
        Lesson study could be an instrument that encourage the currently use curriculum that is school base competence curriculum because: lesson study are guided by the competence would be achieved by the student, lesson study need an investigation and the development of curriculum, syllabus and lesson plan, lesson study encourage the development of aids and education media, lesson study need a development of student’s worksheet.
        Lesson plan is the backbone of lesson study, and so it’s should be: serving the needed of the student to learn, reflecting the student activity, various interaction, various media, various teaching method, the scheme of competence achievement, the development of evaluation, as an communication tools, reflecting the innovation, encourage collaboration learning, was completed by encourage document, there are always revision and the last one lesson plan is as an observation tools.
