                The development of education pands are the five basic principal of Republic Indonesia as a philosopy land, the constitution and Board Outlines of The Nation’s Direction as juridical land, social economic and cultural, globalization, and the comparison of international curriculum by Unesco as empiric land, and beside that there are theories land, context land, and pragmatic.
                While, the competences that the student needs to be able after doing learning process such as, student motivation expand, developing  students good attitude, the expand of student knowledge, get many kinds of skill based on their potential, get a lot of experiences which is useful for the student when they face the real problem in the daily of life. 
                Competence is knowledge, skill, attitude and value that student need to be able and reflected it onto their thinking and act habits. The meaning of life skill based on the Unesco is consist of personal skill including self awareness and thinking skill, and then social skill, academic skill and vocational skill.
                Based on the competences student need to reach, teacher need to develop their teaching method there for all of these competences can be able to reach. The development of teaching method can be done by research, dissemination and development.  All of these ways can be done by the teacher individually, by group, by professional group such MGMP, and by development team on the interrelated institution.
                The one that should be reached on the process of developing teaching method is producing the contextual teaching and learning which was developed through the understanding of the nature of student learning such motivation, autonomy, cooperation, and learning context.
